Registered in the BVI in September 2010, Swala Energy is a private company with a vision of building a successful E&P company in Sub-Saharan Africa, balancing an interest in the producing and pre-development fields of West Africa with an interest in the significant exploration upside of East Africa.

Swala Energy's founders have significant experience in international E&P and a successful track record in corporate development.

Swala Energy believes that there is significant potential remaining in Sub-Saharan Africa - there have been tantalising discoveries even when the Continent as a whole remains highly under-explored. Alongside this potential there are also positive improvements in governance, rule of law and regulatory sophistication, all of which add to the attraction of an area that is expected by many to contribute more and more to the world's future hydrocarbon resources.
